Being a wedding photographer I get the opportunity to travel to different states and photograph beautiful couples! Every year I happen to book something in NYC and every single time its a different adventure. Part of the adventure I believe is the place that we stay at. This particular trip we happened to land a new hotel that had just been built. The previous year, I remember walking down at the Brooklyn Bridge Park and seeing the construction of this hotel, so definitely was excited to have the opportunity to actually be staying at the 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge.

1. THE VIBE.

Absolutely loved the vibe of this hotel. From the greenery to the natural wood to the spa like music playing, it was definitely an experience. And as all y'all know, I very much into experience and the esthetics.

The lobby & Lounge area was so chill and relaxing, they even had a small bar area for refreshments.

2. THE COZY ROOM & SPA LIKE BATHROOM

So this is a little peek into our room. My husband didn't want to leave. pretty sure he would have stayed here all day if we didn't have to go do a photoshoot ;). We did a day after wedding session with a couple on Brooklyn Bridge, and even a few shots on top of the rooftop of this hotel!)

Needless to say, after a long day of exploring & shooting, its really nice to come back to such a relaxed place! And the I believe the way the room is set up definitely plays a roll in providing that type of aumbiance.

I wanted to take this bathroom home with me.

3. THE VIEW & LOCATION

This is the view from our room. Enough said.

The location of this hotel is probably the best feature. You step out of the hotel right into the walkway of the Brooklyn Bridge Park. Its serene and absolutely breathtaking to see the Manhattan skyline and only a few steps away.

4. THE FOOD & ROOM SERVICE

Attaining food fast is a must when traveling for work. The Neighbors Cafe thats part of the hotel had some delicious fresh food choices. We happened to stop by there way too often, and each time I tried to get something different. From fresh smoothies, salads, cookies and ice cream (clearly I am not the most healthy choices haha) I enjoyed every single thing I got.

I also love to order room service at least once when I am on a trip, you know, so I don't have to get out of bed!

This is a little bit of how I recover from being on my feet too long. ;).

5. TESLA

Maybe I have lived under a rock, or maybe its a new thing, or just a feature of this particular hotel, but they provided a complimentary ride, on a Tesla!

We definitely took advantage of this perk provided by the 1 Hotel. It took us to many places, even to our shoot location. I really enjoyed this luxury perk!
